Normally I don’t take selfies. You’ve seen a picture of me, you know what I look like, ya know? But, when I find myself in the Wax Museum in Hollywood, all by myself late at night, equipped with a selfie stick (that I, by the way, bought a long time ago and didn’t use once during my 2 weeks in Italy), I couldn’t let that pass. I decided to have fun! So, without further ado, 6 silly encounters with stationary celebrities:

Ah, George Clooney! What girl could resist a selfie with him?!

Julia Roberts.. at least our hair is similar in colour..

What are you squinting at, Brad?!

Haha, whatever you say, Robert!

After the Wax Museum I went across the street to Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Odditorium. Probably not something for everyone, but I for one absolutely adored it! So many weird and kind-of-really-quite-interesting things. I won’t reveal it all if you are planning to go, but just to give you a gist of what you’re dealing with, this room for example:

Skeleton in a bucket next to Betty Boob, check.

A picture of Jimi Hendrix made entirely out of guitar picks, check.

Handmade, and very large, wooden Minas Tirith model, check..

Entry to each of the three museums (Ripley’s, the Wax Museum and Guinness Records) is 20 dollars, and you can save a bit by taking all 3 at once. You spend about a half hour to 45 minutes at each place, so it’s a good option if you’re in Hollywood and have a while (and some cash!) to spend. I went in the evening around 7 or 8 pm on a weekday, and the places were almost deserted.

I know there are a lot more Ripley’s museums spread around the country. Have you been to any of them? Tell me about it below!
